Gidget Hansen has had horses all her life. Growing up on a working ranch in a small town with her grandparents she learned about God's love and fell in love with horses. Her grandfather taught her how to turn any horse into a good partner. He always said "There is no such thing as the perfect horse." So Gidget set out to prove him wrong, and found they may not start out perfect and they will have a bad day or two but any horse can be your perfect partner from the fast turn of the barrels to the feel of dressage. After high school she got her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Production from Tarleton State University. At TSU she studied Equine Science. She was involved in the Horseman's association, and showed in the IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) for two years. She has trained and shown horses in Western Pleasure, and English Pleasure.. She has work for trainers in Cutting and Barrels. Gidget's new adventure is Dressage.
